This restaurant is so cute! It was not super busy when we went on a Friday evening, but quickly picked up after about a half hour there. It's easy to drive by it without seeing. I've driven by many times and never noticed it. It's not super fine dining type of restaurant, but it does have table clothes and nice seating. The staff was attentive and the restaurant appears very clean. Our waiter was kind and attentive and he brought out fresh bread. Their bread has a beautiful texture and crust, so I assume their pizza shares this delicious crusty recipe. I ordered a chicken parmesan because I was craving something simple, although I initially came for pizza. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and had two hand sized portions of thin cut chicken filet. I chose angel hair with my chicken parmesan and the amount of sauce was perfect for me. Portion is large, and the cost is very reasonable. Other options include ziti and spaghetti. I ate half of my plate. They have a varied price of wine available for purchase, and a good variety of homemade Italian food. Pepsi non-alcoholic products. Their menu includes dishes I don't see in other Italian eateries in the area and has a vast pasta choice including baked dishes such as stuffed manicotti and lasagna. Seafood pastas and veal. I didn't take too many photos because I was excited to eat some food I don't normally have.

Me and my girlfriend visited Fratellis on February 2nd. Yes its a late review. But its genuine! Lol. We really really enjoyed this place and constantly think about it since we traveled to Texas. The food here is absolutely amazing. Such awesome flavor notes. I highly reccomend this place. The best part (hard to believe because the food was so good) was our service. Our server was so good to us. Conversating and checking on us quite often. This was the best place food wise we had visited in the New Orleans area hands down. Definitely the most memorable and we definitely do our food research. So at the end of the day if you question going here just do it. You wont be disappointed.

Best Italian Restaurant, great service, good ambience. Best family recipe for lasagna and cannoli. Loved it!

The pizzas are amazing! Thin crust with a garlic aroma crust. Mr. Giovanni knows his wines well and what pairs well with what foods! Our server Chantel was very sweet! Great atmosphere and enjoyed our Sunday lunch!

Really good food! I love how this food sits good on my stomach (unlike other Italian places I’ve been where I feel half dead after eating) The flavors taste really fresh and has a homemade vibe to it... they don’t abuse the salt or any other ingredient. Every time I have eaten there every flavor has been balanced to perfection.! It’s a small place relatively... feels cozy and familiar. My daughter is autistic and we can’t go many places with her because of the noise level that usually disturbs her greatly... now at Fratellis the noise level is nice. Soft not too loud music in the background, if you go you totally can hear and talk with the people l without having to scream so it’s a very calming atmosphere so even my little one loves it. We are also new to Slidell so this has been like a small little gem we are happy to have discovered.

So delicious!! We stopped on our way through to Texas. The food and service was amazing and very authentic. We had six more hours in the car, so they gave us ice for our cooler to keep the left overs safe!

We had Chicken Florentine, Chicken Parmagan, and Baked Lasagna. All three were so delicious. And the people waiting our table were so curteous and friendly. Easy parking, tons of food and really reasonable prices.

Well this is the first time we tried this place and it started out as a three-star review, quickly went to a one-star review, and then they redeemed themselves for an Ultimate 5-star review. The reason for dropping it down was they weren't going to let my 86 year old mother-in-law eat off of the kids menu. But the server went and asked the manager and they said sure no problem. The hot rolls they brought out before they took our order were outstanding, and there were plenty of more baskets brought to our table during the meal, they weren't skimpy with the rolls! There were four of us and each one had a different dish I had the chicken marsala and it was out of this world. Best marsala sauce I've had in a long long time my wife had the sampler and it was plentiful enough that she had to take half of it home. The fettuccine was covered with alfredo sauce, most places are kind of skimpy on that but not here. Our server was Leo and he did an excellent job taking care of us. The food came very quickly after we ordered there was plenty hot enough out of the kitchen as well. Now one thing this place does have Pepsi products and not Coke for those Coke drinkers out there but the iced tea is very good. We will very definitely be back for more meals!
